Humble Beginnings
Glacé started in 2024 as a passion project between a local mother and son, brought to life with a vintage Japanese mini truck and a love for incredible shaved ice. We wanted to bring a taste of the islands to Charleston—but in a way that felt natural, elevated, and true to the city’s charm.
Our goal was simple (but not easy) make every syrup from scratch, using only real ingredients—no preservatives, no artificial flavors—just fruit and cane sugar. With help from local chefs and food lovers, we found the perfect balance of flavors.
The heart of our process is our imported ice machine, which shaves from a solid block to create delicate, feather-light sheets of ice. When paired with our handcrafted syrups, every bite melts effortlessly, tasting just like the fruit it came from.
